You will welcome guests, provide menus and beverage options, prepare and arrange tables, take orders, serve meals and beverages, process payments, and maintain the dining area.Key responsibilitiesWelcome guests and provide menus and beverage optionsPrepare, set and arrange tables before serviceTake customer food and drink orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staffServe meals, beverages and other requested items to customers, including opening bottles and pouring drinksClear used plates, cutlery and other tableware and return them to the kitchenRemove empty bottles and used glassware, and replace or refill glasses as neededProcess customer payments using POS systems and cash registersAbout youAt least 1 year of work experience in a waiter roleConsistent and able to work well in a teamAble to perform well under pressureSalary: between $71,500 – $81,500 per year + superannuation (based on experience)About usEarly Bird Cafe is a restaurant located on Magnetic Island.
