We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused Maintenance Fitter to join our Tamworth manufacturing site.This is a hands-on role responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and repairs across our production equipment.
Working closely with the Production and Maintenance teams, you will help keep equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.What You will Be DoingCarry out preventative and breakdown maintenanceDiagnose faults and complete mechanical repairsInstall, maintain and improve production equipmentUndertake fitting, fabrication and welding as requiredMonitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvementMaintain accurate maintenance recordsWork collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teamsMaintain a safe, clean and organised work environmentFollow all safety, quality and environmental proceduresAbout YouWe are looking for someone who brings robust mechanical skills,



a practical approach and a commitment to safety.Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner or equivalentMinimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenanceStrong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsCurrent driver's licence and forklift licenceStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to safety, quality and continuous improvementAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience with CMMS, welding/fabrication or food/feed/process manufacturing will be highly regardedWhy Join Ridley?
