Join Ampcontrol's High Voltage Field Service team in Gladstone and play a hands-on role supporting the maintenance, testing and reliability of critical electrical infrastructure across Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Trades Assistant looking to gain exposure to high voltage equipment, work alongside experienced technicians and electricians, and build a long-term career in the electrical services industry.Working across workshop and field environments, you'll assist with transformer inspections, oil sampling, testing activities and project delivery while travelling to customer sites throughout the region.
Every day brings variety, practical hands-on work and the opportunity to contribute to the protected operation of essential power assets.What You Will DoSupport technicians and electricians with the delivery of field service and project workConduct visual condition assessments of transformersCollect transformer oil samples for testing and analysisAssist with transformer testing and maintenance activitiesPrepare, organise and deliver materials required for jobsMaintain tools, equipment and work areas to a high standardComplete job documentation and reportsUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelySupport site isolations and safe work practicesTravel to customer sites across the region and throughout Queensland as requiredAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will be a safety-focused individual who enjoys practical,
