Workhorse Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy fabrication workshop manufacturing custom sheet metal components and industrial products.

This is a excellent temp to perm chance for a skilled tradesperson looking for secure, long-term work with a thriving manufacturer. The role offers plenty of variety across fabrication, welding, fitting and assembly, with most of the work based in the workshop.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

n
Either MIG or TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
n
Light fabrication
n
General fitting, assembly and repair work
n
Operating press brakes, guillotines and power tools
n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and sketches
n




Completing quality checks on finished products
n
Occasional site installation and repair work as required
n
Maintaining a secure, clean and organised workshop
n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
Fabrication Trade Qualification
n
Minimum 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experience
n
Strong MIG or TIG welding skills
n

n

Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium

n

n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
n
Experience operating workshop production machinery
n
White Card
n
Current Driver Licence
n
Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
A solid focus on workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
