Our client, Cessnock Leagues Club, is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join Terrace Kitchen team as the Restaurant Supervisor.

n

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you’ll help lead the front-of-house team, coordinate busy services and make sure members and guests receive a consistently welcoming and qualified dining experience. When the Restaurant Manager isn’t on shift, you’ll provide hands-on leadership to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing n

You’ll be visible on the floor and actively involved in service, with a focus on:

n

n
Supporting the restaurant team and coordinating front-of-house service
n
Keeping service running smoothly, particularly during busy periods
n
Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver a great customer experience
n
Coaching team members and supporting the training and onboarding of new employees
n
Engaging with members and guests, resolving service issues and responding to feedback
n
Maintaining high standards of presentation, RSA, WHS,



food safety and operational compliance.
n

You’ll also assist with bookings, POS and cash handling, shift procedures, functions and special events as required.

About you n

n
Experience in restaurant, hospitality or food and beverage service
n
Supervisory or team leadership experience, or the confidence and experience to take that next step
n
Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
n
The ability to lead a team and stay calm and organised during busy services
n
Experience with POS and restaurant booking systems
n
A current RSA and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
