Information Management Specialist n

An prospect for an experienced Information Management skilled to play a key role in improving information governance, maturity and capability across a large and complex organisation.

n

This position will act as a subject matter expert across Information Management, working with business and technology stakeholders to implement and continually improve the organisation's Information Management Framework.

What you'll be doing: n

n
Own and manage the organisation's Information Asset Register
n
Drive improvements in Information Management maturity and capability
n
Define requirements for Information Management solutions, tools and dashboards
n
Work with business stakeholders, IT teams and architects to understand requirements and impacts
n
Develop and embed Information Management policies, procedures, standards and templates
n
Provide advice around regulatory and statutory Information Management obligations
n
Support the implementation of new functionality through training, stakeholder engagement and supporting artefacts
n
Translate complex technical and Information Management concepts for a broad range of stakeholders
n

What we’re looking for:



n

You’ll bring 5+ years' experience in a similar Information Management role, with demonstrated experience operating as an Information Management subject matter expert.

n

You’ll also have:

n

n
Experience contributing to the implementation of an Information Management Framework
n
Strong understanding of IT architecture and Information Management solutions
n
Experience developing and embedding policies, procedures, standards and templates
n
Strong stakeholder engagement, consultation and change management skills
n
Experience interpreting technical and regulatory information and translating it for different audiences
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management or a related discipline
n
Experience within Local Government or a similarly regulated environment will be highly regarded
n
Current Queensland C Class Drivers Licence
n
