We are seeking a skilled and experienced Window & Door Installer to join our team in Melbourne VIC ****.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality installations to our clients.
As a Window & Door Installer, you will be responsible for the precise installation, fitting, and finishing of windows and doors across various residential sites.
This role is fundamental to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction on every job we undertake.Key responsibilitiesMeasure, cut, and install windows and doors to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and functionalityPrepare installation sites by removing old windows and doors, making good the surrounding area, and preparing surfaces for new installationsApply weatherproofing sealants, insulation, and finishing materials to ensure optimal performance and durabilityUse a range of hand and power tools safely and competently, maintaining equipment in good working orderRead and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accuratelyConduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure they meet project standards and client expectationsWork efficiently to meet project timelines whilst maintaining the highest standards of workmanshipMaintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulationsCommunicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients throughout the installation processHandle and dispose of waste materials responsiblyWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Window & Door Installer or in a similar role within the building trades industrySound knowledge of window and door installation techniques, materials, and best practicesProficiency with hand tools,
