This is a full-time and ongoing position.Key responsibilitiesTrain and educate young horsesConduct track work, including riding timed gallopsApply horse training and handling methods specific to Thoroughbred RacingOperate equipment safely and use personal protective equipmentTake instruction and provide information through verbal and written communicationWork in a team and independentlyAbout youMinimum 2-3 years full-time professional experience in a similar role, or 2 years full time experience and a relevant qualificationKnowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to Thoroughbred RacingExperience in track work, including riding timed gallopsProven ability to train and educate young horsesVerbal and written communication skills to take instruction and provide informationAbility to work in a team and independentlyKnowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment
