We work with many of Australia's leading Tier 1 builders and property developers, delivering specialist solutions across major commercial construction projects.We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our small, energetic team.
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of the business and working closely with management, project managers, technicians and suppliers.We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and can keep things organised in a fast-paced environment.
You'll play an important role in keeping the office, warehouse and wider business running smoothly.What You'll GetA supportive and friendly small-team environmentA varied role with exposure to different areas of the businessThe opportunity to work closely with management and experienced project teamsExposure to the commercial construction and height safety industryOpportunity to develop your administration, coordination and business skillsA hands-on role where you can take ownership of your workOpportunity for career growth as the business continues to expandMonday to Friday working hoursWhat You'll Be DoingManaging daily office operations, including opening the office, office enquiries, supplies and facilitiesCoordinating warehouse activities, deliveries, stock, tools, uniforms and equipment recordsManaging fleet administration, including registrations, servicing, repairs and maintenance remindersSupporting recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and general employee administrationMaintaining employee records, including licences, training and certification requirementsAssisting with workers compensation and rehabilitation administrationCoordinating company phones,
laptops, user access, IT providers and software subscriptionsSupporting marketing, advertising, website and recruitment activitiesMaintaining business registers, templates, records and filing systemsAssisting with supplier setup, purchasing and general procurement administrationSupporting Simpro, SharePoint and other business systems as requiredAssisting with timesheets, labour dockets and compliance documentationMaintaining EBA and CFMEU-related workforce records, including classifications, allowances, onboarding and site requirementsFollowing up administrative tasks and requests to make sure they are completed on timeProviding general support to the team and assisting with other office and business needs as they ariseWhat You'll BringWe're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and takes ownership of their work.You will ideally have:Previous experience in office administration, business administration or a similar role (minimum of two/three years' experience)Excellent organisation and time management skillsStrong attention to detailGood communication and people skillsStrong initiative and a can-do attitudeAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesConfidence using Microsoft Office and cloud-based systemsGood computer skills and the ability to learn new software quicklyExperience with systems such as Simpro, SharePoint and Adobe InDesign are an advantageThe Person We're Looking ForThis role would suit someone who enjoys being the person who keeps things organised and makes sure everything gets done.You'll need to be comfortable working in a small business where priorities can change and everyone pitches in.
