We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a long term basis .
Applicants must have previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy or previous hands-on compounding experience within a pharmacy environment.Experience in an Australian compounding pharmacy is highly desirable, however additional training in our compounding processes and procedures will be provided to the successful applicant.Please note: This position is specifically for an experienced Pharmacy Technician/Compounding Technician.

It is not a pharmacist position and is not suitable for applicants whose experience is solely as an overseas-qualified pharmacist without pharmacy technician or pharmacy compounding experience.About the RoleThe role involves the preparation of compounded pharmaceutical products and may include:Preparing and filling capsules and syringesMilling and preparing creams and ointmentsWeighing and mixing raw materials and ingredientsPreparing pharmaceutical formulations and batchesFollowing compounding procedures, formulas and quality-control processesMaintaining accurate documentation and recordsThe position also includes laboratory and stockroom responsibilities such as:Inventory and stock controlSafety Data Sheet (SDS) managementQuality-control procedures and documentationRestocking raw materials and laboratory suppliesWaste managementWashing laboratory glassware and equipmentCleaning equipment and workstationsMaintaining a clean, organised and hygienic laboratory environmentOther duties as directed by the Laboratory SupervisorWe are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a busy laboratory environment.
Accuracy and the ability to consistently follow procedures are essential.Start Date: ImmediateHours:Monday to Friday9:00 am – 5:00 pmFull-time position
