With 80 years of experience, Cordina continue to bring new concepts to the market and assist our customers to create their own unique point of difference.About the Role:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join The Cordina Group on a temporary basis for a 6 month contract.Reporting to theGroup Finance Manager, this temporary role will support the Finance team across a broad range of accounting, finance and administration duties.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day financial operations, month-end processes, reporting requirements and general accounting support across the organisation.To be considered for this temporary opportunity, you will have prior accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
CPA qualification or progress towards completion will be highly regarded.
You will bring strong commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal skills and advanced Excel capability,



particularly as the business continues through a system implementation.Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Supporting accounting functions across all associated companiesAssisting with weekly and month-end processingReconciling accounts on a monthly basisPrepare and issue internal business reportsAssist in improving the reports by utilising advanced excel skillsAnalyse costs and overheads, providing analysis and commentary on key variancesAssist with preparation and analysis of weekly business resultsReview and check batch payments for accuracy and completeness.
Load and authorise batch payments.Assist in various functions in the accounting team including AP & AR as requiredActively participating in projects such as system integrationAbout you:CPA qualified or working towards completion2–3 years' experience in a similar accounting roleAdvanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systemsBI report writing skillsStrong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to prioritise, with excellent time management skillsConfident and engaging communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work within a team environmentHigh service orientationAustralian permanent residents or citizens only, will be consideredWhy Join Cordina?
