You will provide support to people with disability and/or psychosocial needs, enabling them to undertake all aspects of daily living.
You will also promote and demonstrate positive behaviours, learning experiences and skill development for your clients.Responsibilities and DutiesTaking clients out for social outings and activities, shopping trips or GP/specialist appointmentsServicing clients at their respective homes with activities of daily living such as toileting,



showering and dressingLight domestic duties and meal preparation/eating assistanceLiaisingwith the families and representatives of your client as requiredWe are looking for candidates in the Mandurah and Rockingham areas!
Skills, Attributes and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will pride themselves on their ability to deliver person-centered care that values the choice and goals of the client.
They will have the people skills to build and maintain meaningful, lasting relationshipswith their clients.
They will also demonstrate a commitment to being a productive and positive member of the broader home and community team.Key criteria includes:NDIS Worker Screening CheckProof of working rights - Passport or visaValid driver's license and a reliable vehicleWorking With Children Check issued in Western AustraliaPrevious experience as a support worker in the health/disability sector or a relevant Cert III qualification is highly desirable but not essentialSt Jude's NDIS are proud to be an equal prospect employer.
