We're looking for a motivated and experienced Venue Manager (3IC) to join the team at The Albion Hotel in Newcastle.This is a hands-on, floor-based management role suited to an experienced Duty Manager or hospitality supervisor ready to take the next step.Working as part of the venue management team, you'll help lead our people, run great shifts and ensure our customers receive a consistently great experience.Welcome Hospitality | The Albion HotelWhat you'll be doingAs Venue Manager (3IC), your focus will be on the successful day-to-day operation of the venue while you're on shift.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and supervising the team during shiftsOpening and closing the venue and completing required proceduresCoordinating day-to-day service across the venueSupporting and directing team members to ensure smooth and effective operationsDelivering high standards of customer service and handling customer enquiries or concernsEnsuring RSA, gaming, WHS and other venue compliance requirements are followedManaging cash handling, tills and end-of-shift proceduresSupporting the training and development of team membersMaintaining high standards of venue presentation,



cleanliness and serviceResponding appropriately to incidents and escalating matters where requiredCommunicating effectively with the wider management team and completing thorough shift handoversSupporting the General Manager and senior venue management team with day-to-day operationsAbout youYou'll be comfortable taking charge of a busy shift while still being willing to jump in and help wherever needed.Ideally, you'll have:Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor or in a similar hospitality leadership roleExperience working in a busy pub, bar, restaurant or hospitality environmentConfidence leading a team and running shiftsStrong communication and customer service skillsA practical understanding of RSA, gaming and venue complianceThe ability to remain calm and make sensible decisions in a busy environmentCurrent NSW RSA and any other relevant hospitality certificationsAvailability to work a flexible roster, including evenings and weekendsMost importantly, we're looking for someone reliable, positive and hands‐on who enjoys hospitality and takes pride in running a great shift.Why Welcome Hospitality?
