Band 3, Starting salary $68,201 (incl Industry Allowance) plus superannuationBase hourly rate $***** (incl Industry Allowance) plus superannuationFrom 12 October ****, base hourly rate $***** (incl Industry Allowance) plus superannuationThe RoleWorking in our team of Concreters in our Works unit, you will:Maintain the City's infrastructure assets including concrete footpaths and drainage worksBe responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of concrete footpaths, concrete drainage pits and pipes and other concrete structuresBe responsible for the efficient execution of a wide range of maintenance tasks including, drainage, concreting, paving, asphalting and earthworks and having special regard to customer requirements and costSafely and efficiently operate a range of plant associated with maintenance and construction activities, which may include concreting equipment, trucks, excavator, backhoe and skid steer.Maintain quality standards of the work performedEnsure the routine servicing of plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operationThis role works a 9 day fortnight (RDO) with standard hours Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm and every second Friday finishing at 3:30pm.
Our depot is based at Adam Street, Golden Square where you will travel out to site to service the City of Greater Bendigo area.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Knowledge and skills in concreting, general road maintenance and civil constructionExperience in the safe use of concreting equipment and/or driving of trucks, excavator, backhoe,
