ProQuest Recruitment & Training – Dandenong VIC$58,500 - $68,250 a yearFull time7d ago , from ProQuest Recruitment - DerrimutWarehouse & Yard / Stores CoordinatorLocation: Dandenong South, VICHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pmPay Rate:$58,500 to $68,250 + superEmployment Type: Full-timeWe are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse & Yard / Stores Coordinator to join a busy construction and operations environment in Dandenong South.This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in keeping a warehouse and yard organised, and can confidently manage stock, deliveries, equipment and general site requirements.You will work closely with construction teams, administration and management to ensure materials, equipment and vehicles are ready and available when required.About the RoleYour responsibilities will include:Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery docketsCompleting accurate stock counts and maintaining appropriate stock levelsPicking, preparing and loading materials for construction teamsLoading and dispatching stock to various sites as requiredRecording serial numbers and maintaining accurate stock recordsCoordinating supplier deliveries and following up outstanding ordersIdentifying and reporting stock quality or supply issuesMaintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse, factory and yardEnsuring tools and equipment are maintained, clean and returned to their allocated locationsCompleting regular stock checks and identifying critical stock requirementsUndertaking basic equipment repairs and servicing where requiredPreparing equipment for collection by construction teamsAssisting with fabrication of basic plumbing and electrical fittingsCoordinating rubbish, recycling and scrap metal collectionsOperating forklifts,



trucks and other plant and equipment safely and in accordance with proceduresCompleting daily pre-starts and equipment checksEnsuring loads are correctly secured and vehicles are not overloadedSupporting general warehouse and yard duties as requiredCompleting safety inspections and reporting hazards, incidents and near missesMaintaining a high standard of housekeeping across the siteWhat We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, yard or logistics environmentExperience operating forklifts and other warehouse/plant equipmentA current forklift licenceA strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirementsGood organisational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail when managing stock and deliveriesThe ability to work independently and take initiativeA practical, hands-on approach to problem solvingGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively with construction and administration teamsA reliable and punctual work ethicThe ability to follow processes and proceduresA professional and friendly approach when dealing with suppliers, customers and visitorsA truck licence or previous plant operating experience will be highly regarded.The PersonThis position would suit someone who is reliable, practical, organised and hands-on, with a genuine willingness to get stuck in and help wherever required.You will need to be comfortable working across a variety of tasks rather than being restricted to one area of the warehouse.
