My client is an Australian Transport & Logistics company with a growing presence across the country.
Due to an internal promotion they are looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to the Rail team in West Melbourne Dock Facility.
This is a temp to perm prospect for someone with a positive attitude & a team player.Monday to Friday - 7am to 3pmProcessing drivers for both inbound and outbound containersCo-ordinating container locations with stackersLocating containers in terminal (when required)Creating orders for train services (inbound)Booking dehires into erailOversee exports leaving terminal (export lists)Creating empty container pick ups (when required)Using systems such as tms / one stop and maximusLiaising with customers on a daily basis regarding imports / exports and any other requirementsAssist operations manager as needed.You must have your own transportationYou will have 1-2 years in a similar role, ideally in transport & logistics.
You will be well organised and able to multi-task, and have a cheery nature with a flair for communication.
You must be well versed both written and speaking in English.
They are very much a team environment and training will be provided.
