SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Packaging & Labelling EquipmentReporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
This is a diverse, hands-on position working with packaging, labelling, coding and automated equipment across customer sites throughout Victoria and Nationally.Key responsibilitiesInstalling, testing and commissioning new equipmentCarrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenanceDiagnosing faults and repairing mechanical and automated equipmentAttending customer breakdowns and minimising equipment downtimeSupporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer trials and demonstrationsProviding operator and technical training to customersProviding technical support and recommending appropriate spare partsCompleting service and job documentation accuratelyWorking closely with customers and the broader Result Group teamParticipating in after-hours/on-call support when requiredAbout youAt least 2 years' experience in technical service, maintenance,



manufacturing or a similar roleStrong mechanical and technical fault-finding skillsExperience servicing or repairing mechanical and/or automated equipmentGood communication and customer service skillsThe ability to work independently and manage changing prioritiesA willingness to travel to metropolitan and regional customer sites across Victoria including some interstate travel when requiredRelevant trade, electrical, mechanical, mechatronic or engineering qualifications are highly regardedAbout usResult Group is an Australian packaging technology company based in Dandenong South, providing innovative equipment, automation and packaging solutions to customers across Australia and the Asia Pacific.
