We are seeking an Accountant to joinour established Boutique Accounting Practice, close to the CBD in Nedlands / western suburbs.You will join a small, cohesive team of accountants and work closely with the Director.The role will see you involved in daily exposure to a wide variety of clients assisting with processing Tax Returns, managing client groups for best tax outcomes, advice in business services, daily business operations, tax planning and liaising with clients as required.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies and trustsProactively liaising with clients – build and maintain robust client relationshipsSupport implementation and maintenance of accounting systems for clients (primarily Xero and CAS360 but also support to MYOB and QuickBooks clients)BAS PreparationAnnual Tax PlanningASIC DutiesBusiness serviceswork as required (daily, monthly,



quarterly)About You:Ideally you will be on the CPA pathway or fully CPA / CA qualifiedExperience within public practice Accounting in Australia for 2 or more yearsProficiency with Xero client files, Xero Practice Management, CAS360 and FYI Docs would be beneficial but not essentialComprehensive exposure to preparing financial reportsPride in producing accurate workComfortable communicating with clients - excellent verbal and written skillsHighly developed organisational skills and an ability to prioritise/meet deadlinesUnderstand the challenges that come with running a businessIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and add value for clientsBe an Australian Citizen /Resident.On Offer:Small team, long‐term stabilityModern office close to public transport, only 7 mins from Perth CBD, located in the Western SuburbsSalary will be negotiated in line with the experience of the candidatePlease note; this role will not be suitable for applicants with basic experience from H & R Block and ITP.
