Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building socialconnectionandassistingwith day-to-day tasks.
This is a permanent part time opportunity working the following roster:
Week 1: Sunday (3pm-9pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7am the following morning)
Week 2: Tuesday (3pm-9pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7am the following morning) and Sunday (3pm-9pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7am the following morning)
Your Impact
Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.gdriving them to appointments or light exercise)Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plansComplete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to dateFollow all Aveo OH&S; policies and procedures and report any safety,securityand resident incidents
Whatyou'llbring
Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care,independenceand wellbeingFriendly,adaptableand proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environmentStrong communicationskills,



with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residentsCertificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)Valid driver's licence + vehicle (required)Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
