This chance is ideal for someone with a background in building, construction, estimating, site supervision or the trades who is looking for a long-term career that still utilises their technical expertise.

The Role

As an On-Road Home Assessor, you'll attend residential properties, assess damage resulting from insured events, determine repair requirements and prepare detailed scopes of work. You'll manage your own territory, work autonomously and play a key role in helping customers through the claims process.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct onsite property assessments
Identify building damage and repair requirements
Prepare scopes of work and repair estimates
Review claim documentation, photos and reports




Manage claims through to completion
Liaise with customers, builders and repair partners
Negotiate repair outcomes and costs
Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timeframes

About You

You’ll ideally come from a background in:
Building
Construction
Estimating
Insurance Assessing
Site Supervision
Carpentry or Trades

You will also have:
Robust residential building knowledge
Experience preparing or reviewing scopes of work
Ability to identify building defects and damage
Excellent communication skills
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
