Camco Contracting is seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrator to join our Rockhampton team.
This is not an entry-level administration position.
We are looking for someone with strong administration experience who is confident managing a busy workload, taking ownership of tasks and following matters through to completion without requiring constant direction.Key responsibilitiesManaging and maintaining construction and insurance repair jobs from allocation through to completionLiaising with clients, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and customersProcessing and reviewing work orders, purchase orders, supplier invoices and job documentationCoordinating quotations, variations, approvals and progress claimsMonitoring outstanding actions and proactively following up clients, contractors and internal staffMaintaining accurate job records, correspondence, photos and documentationUpdating job management and client portals and ensuring jobs are kept currentAssisting with accounts administration,



invoicing and payment follow-upsSupporting supervisors and management with day-to-day project administrationGeneral office administration as requiredAbout youHas proven experience in an administration or project administration roleIs extremely organised and has strong attention to detailCan confidently manage multiple jobs, deadlines and competing prioritiesTakes initiative and doesn't wait to be reminded to follow something upHas strong written and verbal communication skillsIs confident dealing professionally with clients, contractors and suppliersIs comfortable questioning discrepancies and resolving issues rather than simply processing themHas good computer skills and can learn recent systems quicklyWorks well within a team but is equally capable of working independentlyExperience within construction, insurance repairs, building, trades, facilities maintenance or a similar fast-paced industry is highly desirable
