Is a new state of the art greyhound racing facility in Purga, situated on the outskirts of Ipswich.
The facility includes 3 separate race tracks, a community club complete with a 350 seat restaurant, sports bar, a gaming room with 60 machines.The Club is committed to fostering a family-friendly and balanced workplace, offering flexibility in work arrangements to support personal commitments.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesPlanning and preparing high-quality meals across lunch, dinner, and function serviceSupervising kitchen operations during busy service periodsAssisting with menu planning, specials, and seasonal offeringsMonitoring food preparation, portion control,



and presentation standardsTraining and mentoring apprentice and junior kitchen staffManaging stock rotation, ordering, and minimising wastageEnsuring compliance with food safety, WHS, and hygiene regulationsMaintaining consistency and efficiency in a high-volume kitchen environmentCoordinating with management regarding operational requirements and customer expectationsQualifications & experienceMinimum 1 years experience as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchenRelevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentExperience in high-volume bistro, club, restaurant, or functions environmentsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure in a quick-paced environmentSound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance standardsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidaysEmployment is under the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award ****Salary range $75,000 – $80,000 per year plus super
