6am - 2pmCompetitive hourly rate + super + project delivery bonuses + overtimeFulfilling work on a wide range of innovative shipping container modificationsAbility to expand on your boilermaker/welding/all round experience with a company that takes pride in its workplace cultureYou'll join a small team of experienced boilermakers/all-rounders, to layout, fit, measure and weld to fabricate shipping container modifications, creating commercial cafes and kitchens, high-explosive transport boxes and site offices.We're looking for ...Highly experienced (10 year minimum), trade qualified boilermaker with an interest in project-type work (Cert 4 & above preferred)Proficient in MIG welding and other techniquesAll-round experience including reading and understanding technical drawingsKnowledge of steel framing and previous experience of shipping container modification (desirable)Results-driven, able to work autonomously and take accountability for assigned tasksExcellent communication skillsCommitted to safety cultureCurrent driving licence and forklift license (desirable)Physically fit to meet the demands of the roleResilient, ability to problem solve, high attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a small team.We're proud of our workplace culture and actively encourage diversity and a workforce representative of our local community.Key ResponsibilitiesFabrication of metal partsCutting of containers to specified drawingsAssist with container fit out (training provided)Read and interpret drawingsWork safely and follow instructionsAs part of the Gatehouse team:You'll receive exceptional supervision and on the on-the-job training and coachingBe part of a team and company that values its people and the contribution they bringWe offer a supportive and family-friendly work environmentWe recognise and reward good work, safety awareness and loyalty with both financial benefits and promotion withinGatehouse uniformNo one project is the same, so if you're looking for a varied and exciting role, with the opportunity to be involved in project design, problem-solving and delivery from start to finish, then we want to hear from you!
