You will be instrumental in developing and executing our social media strategy, managing our digital presence across multiple platforms, and supporting broader marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
This role sits at the heart of our marketing communications efforts, enabling us to connect with our audience and build lasting relationships with our students and works across both the Macquarie Community College (MCC) and Gateway Community High (GCH) brands.Key responsibilitiesDevelop, create and manage engaging content across all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTubePlan and execute social media campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives and brand messagingMonitor social media accounts, respond to comments and messages,



and engage with our community in a timely and skilled mannerAnalyse social media performance metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators to inform strategy refinementCollaborate with MCC and GCH teams to integrate social media efforts with broader campaign initiatives and promotional activitiesConduct research on social media trends, competitor activity and audience insights to inform content strategyAssist with the creation of marketing collateral including graphics, videos and promotional materialsContribute to email marketing strategy (HubSpot) - segmentation, email marketing and improving performanceSupport event marketing and promotional activities, including social media coverage and community engagementManage social media calendars and scheduling tools to ensure consistent and timely content deliveryAbout you - Essential Knowledge and skills required:A motivated self starter with the ability to multi task and manage time efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environmentProven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organisation, ideally within the education or related industryStrong knowledge of major social media platforms and current trends in social media marketingExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and platformsCreative thinking and the ability to develop original, engaging content ideas that resonate with target audiencesProficiency with social media management tools and analytics platformsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFamiliarity with graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamHigh attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistencyUnderstanding of basic SEO/AEO principles and digital marketing best practicesCurrent NSW drivers licence and carHold or be willing to obtain a national police check and WWCC
