Applied Polymers is an Australian owned and operated company.
Our manufacturing facility is located in Dandenong, Melbourne where we produce all forms of raw polyurethane elastomers and foams.The role requires our Chemical Blenders to follow formulations which are set into a recipe card (batch card).
General maintenance and cleaning is also required to be carried out around the manufacturing facility.
You will report to the production supervisor.You will be working Dayshift, Fulltime, Monday to Friday.
commencing at 7am.You must also be available to work some overtime to finish batches regularly.You must also have intermediate knowledge of mathematics and measurement in order to correctly measure product, and work to set recipe cards.You will be responsible for all aspects of batch manufacturing includingBatch preparation including preparing ingredients and raw materialsMeasuring ingredients and filling Mixer with productFilling,



capping and packing product into Various size drums and onto palletsUpdating batch records and documentationQuality Control duties including collecting samples, labelling and sending for product testingMonitoring timing, pressure and temperature levels and adjusting when necessaryManual loading/unloading of machineryForklift Driving to move pallets into storage once batches completed (desirable) or willing to get a license.You must be able to work overtime when required.You are also responsible for some manual lifting and cleaning, so you must also be physically fit and willing to not only set and monitor machinery, but clean and perform preventative maintenance such as changing filters and adjusting lines in between batches and at the end of shift.This is great opportunity to join a long established family business that is expanding, genuinely takes care of its employees, and offers the potential for growth opportunities.
