Fisheries On The Spit is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Mooloolaba, Queensland.
This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within the hospitality and tourism management sector.
As Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service delivery and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
You will work closely with the management team to maintain our high standards of hospitality whilst contributing to ongoing success here at Fisheries On The Spit!
Key responsibilitiesOverseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the businessManaging staff scheduling, training and performance to maintain service excellenceEnsuring compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulationsHandling customer service inquiries and resolving complaints professionally and promptlyManaging inventory control, stock ordering and cost managementSupporting the Manager in implementing operational policies and proceduresMaintaining financial records and reporting on performance metricsContributing to marketing initiatives and promotional activitiesEnsuring the venue maintains its presentation standards and cleanliness at all timesTraining and mentoring new staff membersWhat we're looking forProven experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role, preferably within a restaurant, café or similar venue.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffExcellent customer service orientation with a proven ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically and lead the business by exampleSound knowledge of health,
