This Isn't Your Typical Support Worker Role
As a Disability Support Worker in our Community Participation and Day Programs team, you'll help customers:
Participate in shopping and community activitiesTravel to Bathurst and other agreed destinationsPlan and prepare mealsExplore art and creative activitiesComplete agreed domestic dutiesBuild independence and practical life skillsDevelop confidence and community connectionsSupport choice and control over everyday decisions

We're Looking For People Who Are




Experience in community based supportOpen minded, respectful and non-judgementalReliable and accountableClear and effective communicatorsComfortable supporting persons with complex personal or family circumstancesConfident working independently while maintaining professional boundariesAdaptable and solutions focusedLooking for a career, not just another job
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys cooking, shopping, creative activities and supporting people to access their community.
You'll Need
Previous experience providing disability or community based supportsCurrent Driver LicenceWillingness and ability to undertake community travelNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Working with Children Check (where applicable)Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
