22.5 hours per week Wednesday to Friday working (8:*******:00) with an option to pick up extra shifts if availableAbout the RoleYou will provide crucial clerical support and facilitate patient management for the Palliative Care unit.Including admitting patients completing reception duties and delivering exceptional customer service.A key component of the role is ensuring patient confidentiality is always preserved.Create patient records and complete all necessary information accurately and in line with current procedures.Admit patients accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain a high level of customer service by handling patient/ family enquires via telephone and in person, in an efficient, skilled, and caring manner.Arrange appointments for patients as requested by clinical staff.The classification for this position will be HS1 - HS17 ($65,739 - $72,677 per annum pro rata)Your ContributionPrevious administration experience in a health settingKnowledge of medical terminologyKnowledge of private health fund billing and public health fundingKnowledge of Patient Administration SystemsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently in a multidisciplinary teamAdvanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent customer service skillsA valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal history check, or willing to obtainWhat We OfferA focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programsConfidential,
