Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Junior Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the Australian subsidiary, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, cash management, expense management, tax compliance and month-end reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain broad exposure to both Australian accounting requirements and PRC GAAP, while working closely with the Australian Finance team and JETOUR's Group Finance team.
English is the primary working language, and the role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work effectively across cultures.Key responsibilitiesProcess accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoice verification, data entry and payment processingPerform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date account balancesReconcile entries recorded in the OA system and process travel reimbursements and administrative procurement transactionsReview employee expense reimbursement claims to ensure compliance with company policiesManage daily cash receipts and payments, prepare daily cash reports and maintain appropriate controls over company fundsReview and post expenses, including advertising,



transportation and routine operating costsManage rebate and brand fund accounting for the Australian subsidiaryMaintain and manage the fixed asset registerPrepare and post journal entries to the general ledgerSupport the month-end closing process, ensuring accounting tasks are completed accurately and within strict deadlinesAssist with tax compliance activities, including GST, BAS and FBT requirementsSupport reporting and accounting activities required by the Group Finance teamAssist with other finance and accounting activities as requiredAbout youYou will be a motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional looking to develop your career within a growing global automotive business.You will ideally have:A Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline1–3 years' relevant accounting experienceWorking knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and PRC GAAPKnowledge of the Australian taxation system, including GST, BAS and FBTExperience with SAP and strong Microsoft Excel skillsStrong English communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracyStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesThe ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlinesStrong communication, collaboration and cross-cultural teamwork skillsAustralian citizenship or permanent residencyWhy join JETOUR Australia?
