Aerodynamic Pty Ltd is seeking a Trainee Flight Data Analyst to join our Aviation Services team at our Keilor Park facility in Victoria.

As a Trainee Flight Data Analyst, you will work with experienced professionals to extract, interpret, and analyse flight data from aircraft systems.
This role is integral to enhancing flight safety, optimising aircraft performance, and supporting regulatory compliance across our operations.
You will be based at our Keilor Park VIC **** location.Key responsibilitiesExtracting and processing flight data from aircraft data recording systems under supervisionAnalysing flight parameters to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for operational improvementAssisting in the investigation of flight incidents and accidents by examining relevant flight dataPreparing clear and concise reports summarising flight data findings for senior analysts and managementCollaborating with pilots, engineers, and maintenance teams to communicate findings and recommendationsSupporting the development and maintenance of flight data analysis tools and databasesEnsuring compliance with aviation safety regulations and company proceduresParticipating in continuous career development and training to build expertise in aviation safety standards and analysis techniquesWhat we're looking forA tertiary qualification in engineering, mathematics, physics, data science, or a closely related disciplineHolder of pilot's licence (PPL or CPL) highly regardedStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex datasetsProficiency in using computer systems and data analysis software (training in aviation-specific tools will be provided)Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data handling and reportingExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal,



with the ability to present technical information clearlyKnowledge of basic aviation principles and a genuine interest in flight safetyThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst also managing independent tasksWillingness to undertake relevant certifications and training in aviation data analysisA strong safety culture mindset and understanding of the importance of aviation safetyCANDIDATES MUST be Australian Permanent Residents and hold a current Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance (or be eligible to obtain and maintain one).
