The Drainer/Pipelayer installs, maintains and designs below-ground drainage systems and associated sewerage or effluent disposal systems.Key responsibilitiesSetting out and installing drainage systemsPerforming site drainage and de-watering proceduresLocating and clearing blockagesExcavating and levelling to line, depth and gradeInstallation of Excavation supportsInterpreting technical drawingsExcavation for manholesConstruction of concrete pitsCompliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirementsUse of pressure testing equipment, excavators, jackhammers, compaction machinery, compressors, backhoes and dumpersAbout youAQF Certificate III including at least two years' experience or 3 years employment experience may substitute for formal qualification
