National Webbing Products Pty Ltd, a leader in the webbing industry, is seeking a full time Webbing Textile Operator/Technician to join the team in Doveton/Dandenong.
The role provides the opportunity to learn the manufacturing process and specialist machinery to produce webbing related products, while exceeding customer expectations.Key responsibilitiesWarping, weaving and dyeing webbingOperation, monitoring and maintenance of warping, weaving and dyeing machines while keeping efficiency and productivity to high levelsMeasuring, marking and cutting of webbing and other fabric such as canvas and PVCWorking within the production team to ensure deadlines are metEnsuring cleanliness of factory and work areasAssisting with pack,



finish and dispatch of customer orders and receipt of deliveriesAbout youIdeally have experience in warping and weaving of webbings or textile materialsBe punctual, reliable, committed, self-motivated and able to work to a high standardBe able to work as part of a team and unsupervised to deadlinesBe willing to learnBe physically fit and ableHave strong organisational skillsPrevious experience in a similar role or a manufacturing, assembling or factory environment is desirable but not essentialAn understanding of OH&S; and Quality Assurance processes and procedures is beneficialGreat pay and conditions with opportunity to grow roleTraining providedConvenient location with onsite parkingExcellent working environment with family friendly attitude
