You'll work directly with customers to resolve missed payments, manage payment arrangements and take appropriate action when accounts remain outstanding.Previous collections experience is important.The RoleYou'll manage collections across the Rent-to-Own program, ensuring missed payments are identified early, customers are followed up and overdue accounts are brought back on track.Collections & ArrearsMonitor payments across commercial and private customer accountsIdentify missed payments and act quicklyManage the daily missed-payment and arrears listsContact customers by phone, email and SMSUnderstand the reason for non-payment and agree on clear next stepsNegotiate and manage payment arrangementsFollow up on commitments and agreed paymentsEscalate overdue accounts when requiredIssue formal notices in line with company processesCustomer Account ManagementManage complex and higher-risk customer accountsWork with customers to resolve outstanding debtBalance fair customer outcomes with protecting the businessMaintain accurate records of conversations, commitments and collection activityEnsure accounts are managed in line with agreed commercial termsReporting & Team SupportWork closely with finance to manage arrears and debt exposureProvide regular updates on overdue accounts,



payment arrangements and collection outcomesKeep customer records and account notes accurate and up to dateSupport improvements to collection processes and reportingAdditional Team SupportFrom time to time, you may also help with:Customer enquiries and onboardingVehicle registrations and compliance recordsFines, tolls and insurance claimsBringing new vehicles into stockKeeping customer and vehicle records up to dateCollections will remain the main focus of the role.About YouTo be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in collections or debt recovery.Experience managing both commercial and private customer accounts would be highly regarded.
