Black River Quarry, a part of Barro Group– is seeking to engage a Quarry Weighbridge Operator.Excellent base wage + overtime and leave accruals.We are looking for a hands on person who likes customer service and has most probably had a previous background in the trucking, quarrying or transport industries as either a driver, operator or administrator.The key responsibilities:Operate computer-based weighbridge system - taking accurate customer phone orders and effecting delivery of productsSchedule truck loadsAssit with some quarry safety inductions for contractors, truck drivers and visitorsUndertake day-to-day administration activitiesMulti task and at times work under pressure to meet customer requirementsAnswer phone calls and provide customer supportWork as part of a small teamWork flexible schedule including regular Saturday morningsMust be reliable and punctualFollow company systems including working safely
