From bank reconciliations and accounts payable to financial administration and reporting support, you'll be an important part of a collaborative and high-performing team.What you'll be doingYou'll provide operational finance support across a broad range of activities, including:Daily bank reconciliations and financial processingSupporting month-end finance activitiesAssisting with accounts payable, supplier maintenance and payment runsProcessing procurement card transactions and credit notesSupporting GST, FBT and other taxation-related reportingProviding backup support for Accounts Payable and assisting across the wider Finance team as neededWhat you'll bringWe're looking for someone who has:Experience in finance administration, accounts payable, bookkeeping or similar rolesA sound understanding of accounting and finance principlesExcellent attention to detail and data entry accuracyStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelGreat communication and customer service skillsThe ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a teamAt Colac Otway Shire Council,
