You may also be asked to speak with clients via phone/email with general queries and advice,



with the eventual goal to get you client facing as soon as you're comfortable.Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole tradersPrepare and lodge income tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT returnsAssist with Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations under the guidance of senior accountantsMaintain accurate client files and ensure all compliance deadlines are metLiaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies to resolve queriesWhat you will bring:2-3+ years previous experience working in an Australian accounting firmTertiary qualification in accounting/commerce/financeKnowledge of MYOB and XEROCA/CPA in progress, or looking to beginExcellent attention to detail & good organisational skillsA willingness to collaborate, & work in a teamAmbition & drive to progress in your role/the businessTo be considered you will ideally have:Your CA/CPA Qualifications or studying towardsStrong tax compliance interpretation skills2-3 + years' experience in an Australian Accounting FirmExperience producing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts and partnerships and calculating Division 7A, CGT and FBTExperience with Xero (preferred)Please note you must be an Australian citizen (or permanent resident), a Recent Zealand citizen or hold a current Australian Work Visa to apply.
