Chaffey House is seeking a friendly, organised and adaptable Full-Time Administration Assistant to join our residential aged care home.This is a permanent full-time position for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, supporting a team and providing exceptional service to residents, families, visitors and staff.If you're organised, professional and enjoy variety in your day, we'd love to hear from you.About The RoleAs the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff, you'll play an important role in keeping Chaffey House running smoothly.
You'll provide administrative support across reception, rostering, finance and general office functions while helping create a welcoming, professional and supportive workplace.Key Responsibilities IncludeProviding a warm and professional reception serviceAnswering phone and email enquiries and directing requests appropriatelySupporting the General Manager and leadership team with day-to-day administrationManaging filing, correspondence, mail and office suppliesPreparing reports, documents and meeting minutesAssisting with resident administration, admissions and record managementProcessing invoices and supporting petty cash, banking and resident account transactionsAssisting with staff rostering and sourcing replacement staff when requiredSupporting staff onboarding, employee records, mandatory training and uniform orderingMaintaining accurate and confidential recordsProviding professional and compassionate customer service to residents,
families and visitorsSupporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the administration officeAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and confident managing a variety of administrative responsibilities.You'll BringPrevious administration experience, ideally within aged care, healthcare or a similar environmentExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasksAdvanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and general office systemsExperience with cash handling and banking processesThe ability to work independently while contributing positively to a teamA high level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsA flexible and adaptable approach to changing prioritiesExperience with staff rostering systems, such as Time Target, is highly regarded but not essentialCertificate of Education or equivalentCurrent National Police Check, or willingness to obtainEligibility to work in AustraliaWhy Join Respect?
