An established enterprise software business backing a reliable step up in its engineering capability, as part of a wider expansion. This is a Lead role with genuine weight behind it, real architecture ownership and a direct hand in shaping technical direction from day one. You'll be leading a small team which is well backed and building AI at the centre of how they work.

Lead a team of three, split roughly 70% architecture and leadership, 30% hands on, with real scope to shape how the team builds

Sit at the centre of the AI tooling embedded across the engineering practice

Melbourne based, hybrid, with flexibility on how the week is split

Direct access to senior leadership and real input into where the technology goes next

JavaScript and TypeScript stack - React and Node -API design, and web app security knowledge

Comfortable holding architecture ownership while staying hands on

AI forward - valuable judgment when using AI tools to accelerate building

Explicit communicator who can lead and mentor technically
