Parliamentary Services is seeking an Assistant Electorate Officer to support Nigel Dalton MP, providing administration, constituent support, and community engagement in the Mackay electorate.

Parliamentary Services is seeking a professional, organised, and community-minded Assistant Electorate Officer to join Nigel Dalton MP, Member for Mackay.
n
This position supports the Member and Electorate Officer in delivering high-quality services to constituents, engaging with local organisations, and assisting with the daily operations of a busy electorate office.
Key Objectives n
n
Provide high-quality administrative and support services to the Electorate Office.
n
Assist constituents and community groups by responding to enquiries and helping resolve concerns.
n
Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the Member's office.
n
Your Role nn
Assist with diary management, coordinating appointments, meetings, and community events.
n
Provide administrative support including correspondence, research, data entry, and record keeping.
n
Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing information and support.
n
Maintain robust relationships with community organisations, agencies, and stakeholders.
n
Support community engagement activities such as events, newsletters, and correspondence.
n
Provide general office support including filing, supplies management, and documentation.
n
Support the Electorate Officer where required.
