An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Investment Analyst to join the M&A; and Acquisitions team of a rapidly growing, private equity-backed property platform with global operations.
With a substantial portfolio of property-backed operating assets, significant capital available for continued investment and a robust acquisition pipeline, the business is entering another exciting period of growth.
Working directly with the Head of Investments & Corporate Finance, this role will provide genuine exposure across the investment lifecycle – assessing new opportunities, building financial models, supporting due diligence, preparing investment recommendations and helping execute acquisitions.
This is a principal-side opportunity where you will be close to the decision-making and see the assets you assess ultimately acquired, developed and operated by the business.
The chance
You will work across a broad pipeline of acquisition and investment opportunities, with responsibilities including:
Financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis
Assessment of acquisition and development opportunities
Commercial and financial due diligence
Analysis of both underlying property and operating business performance
Preparation of investment papers, business cases and recommendations
Scenario analysis, sensitivities and assessment of investment returns
Supporting transaction execution from initial assessment through to completion
Working closely with senior leadership and external advisers throughout the investment process
Ongoing analysis of portfolio and investment performance
Importantly, this is not a role for someone who wants to simply sit behind a financial model.




The successful candidate will be encouraged to understand the commercial drivers behind an investment, challenge assumptions and develop into a well-rounded investment professional.
About you
We are open-minded on where the right person comes from.
You may currently be working within property investment, acquisitions, capital transactions, funds management, corporate finance, M&A;, valuations or a related investment environment.
You will ideally bring:
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
Experience assessing investments, transactions or development opportunities
Exposure to property, real estate or other asset-backed investments
An understanding of valuation, due diligence and investment returns
Strong commercial judgement and an ability to look beyond the numbers
The confidence to communicate your analysis and work with senior stakeholders
A proactive, curious and accountable approach
Technical capability is important, but equally important will be your attitude and strength of character.
