We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join an established and growing manufacturing business based in Geebung.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance and keeping production running smoothly.THE ROLEWorking as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining production machinery,



plant and equipment and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenanceDiagnosing and repairing mechanical faultsTroubleshooting production machinery and equipmentServicing and maintaining plant and manufacturing equipmentResponding to breakdowns and identifying root causesAssisting with machinery installations, upgrades and modificationsSupporting continuous improvement and reliability initiativesWorking closely with production to minimise downtimeEnsuring all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standardABOUT YOUWe are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitter who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving mechanical problems.You will ideally have:Trade Qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or relevant mechanical tradePrevious experience in manufacturing, production or industrial maintenanceStrong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsExperience working with production machineryHigh Risk Forklift Licence (LF)Experience with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)Strong safety awarenessGood communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHIGHLY REGARDEDRestricted Electrical LicenceExperience with automation and control systemsPermit to Work experienceWHAT'S ON OFFER?
