We're partnering with a leading national organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing team.
This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, timely payroll services while supporting a robust culture of service excellence.About the RoleAs a Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across a large, complex workforce.
Working within a collaborative environment, you'll support both line managers and employees by delivering high-quality payroll services and resolving queries efficiently.
You'll also play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and legislationManage pay cycles, including terminations, reconciliations, overpayments, and reportingCreate and review off-cycle and ad hoc paymentsInvestigate and resolve Tier 2 payroll queries within SLA timeframesMonitor and action Payroll Control Centre (PCC) alertsMaintain strict data integrity and confidentiality across all systemsSupport system updates, UAT testing,



and process improvementsCollaborate with internal teams to support business-as-usual operations and projectsProvide responsive, professional support to stakeholders across the businessAbout YouPayroll experience, ideally within a high-volume environment is requiredStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, enterprise agreements, and compliance requirementsExperience using SAP & SuccessFactors is a must!
