We supply specialised equipment to house builders, pool builders and contractors across QLD, NSW and VIC.Due to continued growth, we are looking for a friendly, organised, technically minded and adaptable person to join our team.This is a full-time, office-based position located at our Head Office in Clontarf, supporting our Operations Team and Field Technicians.The role is diverse and combines technical administration, quantity takeoffs, quotation support, job planning and general operational coordination.
You will be required to review drawings and job information, assist with pricing and takeoffs, prepare technical job sheets and communicate with both internal teams and key stakeholders.Full training will be provided directly by the Director to the right candidate.
We are looking for someone with a practical mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to think logically and work through problems.This role would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, working with technical information, keeping organised and being part of a growing business.Working HoursThis is a full time Monday to Friday position, based at our Brisbane Head Office.We offer flexible working arrangements for the right candidate, with start and finish times able to be discussed and agreed based on operational requirements and team needs.What You'll Be DoingReviewing quotation requests and assisting with pricing and technical informationReading and interpreting construction drawings and plansCompleting quantity takeoffs and measuring quantities from drawingsAssisting the internal quoting team with accurate job informationPreparing technical job sheets and documentation for Field TechniciansAssisting Field Technicians with job planningReviewing upcoming jobs and ensuring the required information is availableFollowing up and reviewing jobs within our CRM and operational systemsAssisting with scheduling and operational coordination as requiredProviding general support to the Operations TeamParticipating in weekly job planning meetingsEnsuring company policies, procedures and processes are followedParticipating in monthly operational planning and business growth meetingsCommunicating professionally with customers, builders, contractors, suppliers and other key stakeholdersIdentifying issues and using rational and practical thinking to work through solutionsWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is technically minded, organised and able to think logically.You will ideally have:The ability to read and understand construction drawingsExperience or an aptitude for quantity takeoffs and measuring from plansStrong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook and WordGood attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time-management skillsA practical and rational approach to problem solvingThe ability to understand information, assess situations and make sensible decisionsThe ability to manage multiple tasks and competing prioritiesA willingness to learn new systems, processes and technical informationA reliable and accountable approach to your workThe ability to work independently while also being part of a close teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsA professional and confident manner when dealing with key stakeholders, customers, builders and contractorsA flexible attitude and willingness to assist wherever requiredDesirable, but Not EssentialPrevious experience in the construction,



building or engineering industryExperience with AutoCAD or similar drawing softwareExperience with estimating, quoting or quantity takeoffsA technical, engineering, drafting or construction-related backgroundExperience using CRM, job management or scheduling softwareAutoCAD experience is preferred but not essential.
