Our culture of Medical Leadership drives excellence in patient care and service provision for our referring doctors.We seek an enthusiastic Database Officer to join our vibrant Database department in Macquarie ParkHours: Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm (with the ability to participate in occasional initial training shifts 7:30 – 3:30).
The successful applicant will be part of a small team and must be a highly motivated self-starter, with a keen interest to learn new computer skills and an ability to relate to all levels of the workforce.




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.Specific duties include:Data Entry for our Surgical Skin AuditLiaising with both surgeries and Area Managers to facilitate the set-up and customisation of current and existing doctors and clients on the internal computer systemsInvestigating and resolving issues for clientsMonitoring all system printers, including large production devices, and assisting in the resolution of issuesWe are proud to say we have a learning and supportive environment, and full training will be provided.
We are looking for the following:Previous experience with any of the following would be an advantage:Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel and WordMedical terminologyMedical centre administration/receptionApollo LIS (internal computer system) or company operationsApplicants for this position must have the appropriate working rights to work in Australia and will be required to sign an acceptance that the Company may conduct a police check.Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is an equal opportunity employer.
