We undertake residential building and construction projects across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern Rivers regions.
Our work includes residential construction, renovations, extensions, remedial works and building rectification projects.Key responsibilitiesReading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specificationsSetting out and constructing timber wall, floor and roof framingInstalling structural timber members, beams, joists, rafters and associated componentsFirst and second fix carpentryInstallation of doors, windows, jambs, architraves and skirtingsInstallation of external cladding systemsConstruction and repair of decks, balconies, stairs and external structuresRenovation, extension and alteration works to existing residential buildingsRemedial and rectification carpentryMeasuring, cutting,



assembling and installing building materialsAbout youRelevant trade qualification in carpentry or equivalentMinimum 3 years' relevant carpentry/construction experience preferredDemonstrated experience in residential constructionStrong framing, first fix and second fix carpentry skillsAbility to read and interpret construction and engineering drawingsGood understanding of Australian residential construction practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a construction teamStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanshipConstruction White CardCurrent driver's licence and reliable transport$79,500 annual salary, depending on qualifications and experienceSuperannuation in addition to salaryFull-time employment – 38 hours per weekAnnual leave, personal leave and other applicable employment entitlementsOngoing employmentVariety of residential construction projectsOpportunity for career development as the business continues to growAbout usFaulkner Building Group Pty Ltd undertakes residential building and construction projects across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern Rivers regions.
