We are a NATA-accredited laboratory servicing Environmental Consultants, Mines, Occupational Hygienists, Government Departments, Industry, and the general public by providing great service and quality.About The RoleWe are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join our modern, NATA-accredited laboratory.
This role will be working the afternoon shift from 1 pm - 9 pm.
The role involves preparing samples for analysis and requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams.
Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory processes.Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyse samples,



ensuring tests are conducted within the required holding time.Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.Safety: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.About YouThe ideal candidate will possess:Exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to maintain competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA proactive, 'can-do' attitudeStrong teamwork skillsA degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferredPrevious experience in a similar role is desirableRequired to work the 1-9 pm afternoon shiftAt Intertek Envirolab, you'll be part of a supportive team environment led by industry experts.
