About the opportunity:We're looking for a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Officer to help keep our Residential Aged Care site running smoothly and looking its best.
In this hands-on role, you'll complete general building maintenance, use equipment like ride on movers and tractors and manage the upkeep of our beautifully landscaped garden areas, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-presented setting for residents, visitors, and staff alike.Your day-to-day will involve:Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and organise contractors when neededCare for lawns, gardens, paths, and outdoor areas to a high standardCarry out routine tasks like rubbish removal, gutter cleaning, watering, pruning, and plantingMaintain tools and ensure safe handling of equipment and chemicalsKeep accurate maintenance records, support regulatory compliance, and uphold safety proceduresAssist with stock control and basic admin such as processing invoices and keeping registers updatedWork as part of a friendly,
