About Us:Nippon Food Supplies, a leading importer and wholesaler of Japanese food products, is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our Sydney branch.

(Working Hours)Days Off: Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and Public Holidays.Shift Window: Shifts are scheduled between 8:30AM and 4:36PM on weekdays.
* Occasional overtime may be required to complete daily tasks.
(Key Responsibilities)This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, motivated, and eager to contribute to a dynamic and supportive team workplace.
For the right candidate, there is strong potential to progress into supervisory or management responsibilities as the business continues to expand.Determining the destinations of products and most appropriate delivery routesManoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloadingAssisting with loading to ensure products are arranged for ease of delivery and safely secured to avoid damageVerifying loading documentsPerforming unloading operations,



including hand-delivering items directly to recipients or leaving packages at designated locations (doorstep delivery)Obtaining confirmation of deliveries upon completionReporting vehicle maintenance needsMay receive payments for deliveries and arrange accountsBe able to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting and moving of goods up to 25kgValid NSW full driver's license (Car type: Van)Proven ability to work in a team environment(We are looking for someone who is)Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essentialHaving basic knowledge of Japanese or Asian culture/cuisineA proactive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities, with the potential to grow into a management-side position(What we offer)Parental leaveNovated LeaseOvertime payWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds, even if you don't have direct delivery experience, we encourage you to apply if you're a motivated learner with a strong desire to grow.Nippon Food Supplies is committed to fair and equitable hiring practices.
