The Opportunity
We are looking for a Care Service Employeeto join our team at Melrose Hostel in our Sydney Region.
You will make a difference to our residents by facilitating positive health and well-being options for individuals, their families, and carers.
Duties will include (but not limited to): -
Provision of a wide range of Person-Centred Care dutiesAssistance with medication (if you are assessed as medication competent) and wound dressingAssistance in daily living activitiesWorking with each resident to continue to do the things they love
We are also willing to invest in training and offer you all the support you might need in order to succeed in your role.
In fulfilling the role, it is essential that you have:




A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards)The ability to provide a wide range of person-centred care dutiesA desire and willingness to work with each resident to empower them to continue to do the things that they loveCare skills that are driven by compassionExperience in Aged Care desirableTeam player who is highly motivatedAvailability to work various shifts across various days
