Some exposure to tax return preparation is preferred, however full training will be provided to the right person.About the RoleThis is an excellent chance for a graduate or junior accountant looking to develop technical taxation skills under the guidance of a Registered Tax Agent.As part of the Tax Preparation and Client Service team, you will:Interview clients and prepare individual income tax returnsPrepare and maintain Rental property schedulesCapital gains tax calculationsBAS and IAS preparationClient correspondence and information gatheringTax office liaison and administrationBusiness tax return preparation (with training)About YouYou will ideally have:Accounting degree completed or currently studyingSome exposure to Australian income tax returnsStrong attention to detailA willingness to learn and develop professionallyPositive attitude and strong work ethicPrevious experience in public practice, H&R; Block, tax consulting or a similar environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.What We OfferFull training and mentoringExposure to a broad range of individual tax and small business accounting mattersSupportive and friendly team environmentRegistered Tax Agent supportCompetitive salary based on experienceWhy Join Us?
